Los Angeles, San Diego, Riverside, San Bernardino

  • From the central or western area of Los Angeles
  • Go N. to Bakersfield (I-5 to Hwy 99)
  • From Hwy 99, take Hwy 178 exit E.
  • Go about 45 miles to Hwy 155 exit. Turn N. (left) over the freeway
  • Go for 10 miles to Kernville
  • Turn right at the first street, Kern River Drive
  • We are on the left, at 119 Kern River Drive
  • From the eastern area of Los Angeles (Inland Empire, for example) or San Diego
  • Take I-15 N. to just south of Victorville
  • Then go N. on Hwy 395 to the Hwy 178 exit (Inyokern)
  • Go west on Hwy 178 about 40 miles
  • In Weldon, turn right onto Sierra Way
  • Drive 13 miles to Kernville
  • Turn left on Kernville Road; go over the bridge
  • After the bridge, immediately turn left onto Kern River Drive
  • We are the third building on the right

From the North

San Francisco, Fresno, Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks

  • Go south on Hwy 99 to Bakersfield
  • Exit at Hwy 178 E
  • Go E. 45 miles on Hwy 178 to Kernville exit
  • Turn N. (left) over the freeway
  • Go for 10 miles to Kernville
  • Turn right at the first street, Kern River Drive
  • We are on the left, at 119 Kern River Drive

From the East

Hwy 395, Death Valley, Las Vegas, Eastern Sierra, Hwy 14, San Diego

  • From Hwy 395, take Hwy 178 32 miles W. to Sierra Way in Weldon
  • Turn N. (right) onto Sierra Way
  • Go 13 miles to Kernville
  • Turn left onto Kernville Road and go over the bridge
  • Immediately after the bridge, turn left onto Kern River Drive
  • We are the third building on the right

From the West

Santa Barbara, Ventura, San Luis Obispo

  • Drive to Bakersfield
  • From Hwy 99, take Hwy 178 exit E
